Welfare, Assam has invited application for the recruitment
of 2 (Grade IV) Vacancy at of Farrier and Saddler posts under Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam.

Eligibility Criteria of Sports & Youth Welfare Assam Recruitment:
Minimum
Educational qualification for the posts of Farrier/Saddler is read up to Class VIII from any recognized
Educational Institution and the candidates must produce the Certificate of read
up to Class VIII from the recognized School/Board/Council they have attended
with due Seal and Signature of the authority.
Maximum
Educational Qualification for the posts of Farrier/Saddler is HSSLC (Class 12) or equivalent examination.
(NB:
The maximum educational qualification for both the categories of Grade IV posts
shall be HSSLC
(Class
12), or equivalent examination passed. Those who have higher educational
qualification other than prescribed educational qualification on the date of
application shall not be eligible to apply for any of the above categories of
posts, as mentioned above.)
Age
Limit: The candidates must not be less than
18 years of age and not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2022. The age of the
candidates will be calculated on the basis of the School/HSLC Admit
Card/Certificates, issued by the recognized Board/Council/Schools.
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.6/2016/51 dated Dispur the 02nd September, 2020, by 3 years.
Selection Process of DSYW Assam Recruitment 2022:
i.
There shall be two parts of selection process- Written Test and Interview.
ii.
Candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in a
Written Examination (Objective Type) of 100 marks in the following subjects (up
to Class VIII Standard).
a.
English
b.
Social Studies
c.
Mathematics
d.
General Knowledge
e.
Mental Ability and Logical Reasoning.
# The selected candidates will have to bring all the original testimonials i.e. Certificate of proof of age, Caste Certificate, Educational Qualification Certificates, and Declaration in Form A, under Rule 5 (I) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct recruitment) Rules, 2019, for verification, at the time of Interview, which will be notified later on, amongst others.

Candidates are required to apply in Standard Form of Application (Assam Gazette
Part-IX) along with self-attested copies of all academic Certificates,
Marksheets and other testimonials. The application must accompany a
self-addressed envelope (22 cm X 10 cm), affixing Postal Stamp of Rs. 5.00 (Rupees
five) only.
Candidates are required to enclose the following documents:

ID Proof like-PAN Card/Voter ID Card/Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Passport.

Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

Part -IX ), complete in all respect, should reach the office of the
Director of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam, Rudra Singha Sports Complex,
Super Market, P.O.-Sachivalay, Dispur, Guwahati-781006, by way of Post or
by dropping in the Drop Box during office hours (9.30 am to
5.00 pm), on or before the last date of submission of application forms.
