Date of verification: 6th September 2024 Onwards
Time of verification: 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Venue of verification: Conference Hall, Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19.

Assam TET Recruitment Details
Name of Post: Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher and Hindi Teacher of UP Schools
No of Posts: 1,750 Posts
Name of Department: Directorate of Elementary
Education, Assam
Educational Qualification: This information will be

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000 – Rs.70,000
plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Other Criteria of TET Assam Recruitment
TET Eligibility: The candidates who have
passed the ATET/CTET for Upper Primary School will be eligible to apply. Either
the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match
the medium of instruction of the school wherein the candidate wishes to apply.
Nationality: An Indian Citizen and Permanent
Resident of Assam is eligible for this recruitment.
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not
be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as of 1st January 2023.
Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation
will be as follows.
OBC/MOBC: 3 Years
Schedule Caste:5 Years
Schedule Tribe: 5 Years
Ex-Servicemen: 2 Years
PwD: 10 Years
Small Family Norms: No person having more than two
living children on or after 1st January 2021 from a single or multiple partners
shall be eligible for appointment as per the Government policy on Small Family
Norms.

How to Apply for Assam TET Recruitment?
Candidates fulfilling all the required eligibility criteria for
the recruitment of Lower Primary and Upper Primary Teachers will be able to
submit their online applications on the official application portal developed
by the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam.
