of One Chemical Examiner (Excise) Assam Vacancy under

Educational
Qualification: M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or M.Sc. degree in
Forensic Science and Criminology from a recognized university in the country or
abroad. Preference shall be given to candidates having 1st Class M.Sc. degree
in Chemistry and having experience in Forensic Science and Criminology.
Preference: Preference

having experience in Forensic Science and Criminology.
Desired
Experience: At least 5(five) years of service
experience as Deputy Chemical Examiner (Excise) or equivalent post.
Other Eligibility for APSC
Recruitment
Age Limit: The
candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years
of age as of 01/01/2023.
The
upper age limit is relaxable:
(i) By 5 years for
SC/ST candidates, i.e. up to 43 years.
(ii) By 3 years for
OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. up to 41 years as per Govt. Notification No. ABP.

Resident: The
candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam
Other Certificate: The
candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes or
Employment Exchange Registration certificate of Assam which will be treated as
proof of residency along with the online application form.
Physical Criteria: The
candidate should be of sound health both mentally and physically and free from
organic defect or bodily infirmity likely to interfere with the efficient
performance of his/her duties and required to undergo medical examination
before appointment to the service.
