1. Professor

Deputy Controller of Examination
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
a) Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a
point scale wherever grading system is followed.
b) Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 10 and
above with experience in educational administration
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of
higher education.
OR
Five years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an
equivalent post.
Desirable:
a) Person having experience in administration and in conducting examination in
an educational institution of higher learning.
b) Proficiency in computerization of examination works.
4. Deputy Register
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
a) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a
point scale wherever grading system is followed.
b) Nine Years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 10 and
above with experience in educational administration.
OR
Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of
higher education
Five years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an
equivalent post.
Desirable:
Experience in developing curricula, knowledge regarding academic standards at
higher educational institutions and knowledge about New Education Policy (NEP).
5. Assistant Librarian
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
a) A Master Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation
Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an
equivalent grade in a point –scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
b) A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of a
library.
c) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared
the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test
accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D.
Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards
and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 or
2022 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be.
d) 2 Years of experience in similar role is desirable.
6. System Administrator
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
a) Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a
point scale wherever grading system is followed in Computer Application /
Computer Science/Information Technology
OR
BE/B. Tech with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point
scale wherever grading system is followed in Computer Engineering/Computer
Science/ Computer Technology/Information Technology of a recognized University
or equivalent with 5 years’ experience of “handling Systems including Server,
Networks, Clouds, Clients”/Electronic Data Processing, out of which at least
Two years’ experience should be in actual Programming/system administration
OR
b) Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point
scale wherever grading system is followed in Computer Applications/Computer
Science/Information Technology or Degree in Electronics / Electronics and
Communication Eng. From a recognized University or equivalent with 7 years’
experience of “handling Systems including Server, Networks, Clouds,
Clients”/Electronic Data Processing, out of which at least Two years’
experience should be in actual Programming/system administration
OR
c) B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent
grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed from a
recognized University with 10 years’ experience of “handling Systems including
Server, Networks, Clouds, Clients”/Electronic Data Processing, out of which at
least Two years’ experience should be in actual Programming/system
administration
7. Administrative cum Admission Officer
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
a) Post-graduate Degree from a Government recognized university / institution
with at least 55% marks or its equivalent in CGPA scale.
b) At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in related field. Must
have good communication skills in English and Regional Languages with
professional presentation skills.
c) Sound knowledge and understanding of customer behavior. Hands-on knowledge
of computer skills such as Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Ambitious and Go-getter
attitude, good team player is desired.
8. Account Officer
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
a) Post- Graduate Degree / CA article ship from a government recognized
University / Institution with minimum 55% marks. \b) Three years of
post-qualification experience relevant field in Government Institution /
Private Business Organization of repute / PSUs / Universities.
c) Must have proficiency in at least one accounting software.

The Assam
Skill University is being setup under External Aid Project (EAP) funded Asian
Development Bank. The value of Project is $140 Million (Rs. 1,016.68 Cr)
including the government share of 20%. Project management unit (PMU) of Assam
Skill University is responsible for day-to-day management of the Assam Skill
University Project.
