Salary for Model School Assam Recruitment:
- 1 Post Graduate Teacher: Rs. 5,10,540/- with applicable annual increment
- 2 Graduate Teacher: Rs. 3,45,924/- with applicable annual increment
- 3 Assistant Teacher: Rs. 3,07,848/- with applicable annual increment
- 4 Computer Tutor (Fixed Pay): Rs. 3,00,000/- with applicable annual increment
- 5 Laboratory Assistant (Fixed Pay): Rs. 1,80,000/- with applicable annual increment
Eligibility Criteria of Adarsha Vidyalaya Assam Recruitment
Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 45 years as on 1st January, 2023.
Minimum educational and professional qualifications for engagement of Post Graduate Teacher (Arts & Science):
For engagement of Post Graduate Teacher (Arts): Candidate must possess :
- a) Post Graduate Degree in Arts from a recognized University with minimum 55% of marks in both Graduation and Post Graduation in the respective subject and
- b) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
For engagement of Post Graduate Teacher (Science): Candidate must possess :
- c) Post Graduate Degree in Science from a recognized University with minimum 55% of marks in both Graduation and Post Graduation in the respective subject and
- d) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s)
Minimum educational and professional qualifications for engagement of Graduate Teacher (Arts & Science):
- a) A Graduate in Arts with Major (Honours) from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks and
- b) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
- c) A Graduate in Science with Major (Honours) from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks and
- d) Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
Minimum educational and professional qualifications for engagement of Graduate Teacher (Hindi):
- Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 55% marks and degree qualification with 55% marks or post Graduate degree in Arts with 55% marks with Pravin/ Ratna in Hindi with 55% marks from any recognized University, Or BA with 55% marks and having Hindi as one of the subjects with 55% marks or post Graduate in Arts with 55% marks provided that he has passed BA with one of the subjects as Hindi with 55% marks in Hindi.
- B.Ed. degree from any recognized University (PARANGAT to be treated as B.Ed. degree only for the purpose of Hindi teaching).
Minimum educational and professional qualifications for engagement of Assistant Teacher (Arts & Science):
For the post of Assistant Teacher (Arts), the candidate must be:
- a) A Graduate in Arts from recognized University with a minimum 55% marks and
- b) Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
For the post of Assistant Teacher (Science), the candidate must be:
- a) A Graduate in Science from recognized University with a minimum 55% marks and
- b) Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s).
Minimum educational and professional qualifications for engagement of Computer Tutor:
- Passed M.C.A., M.Sc. (IT), M.Tech. (Computer Science) with minimum 60% of marks from a recognized University.
Minimum educational and professional qualifications for direct recruitment in the post of Laboratory Assistant:
- Higher Secondary passed in Science stream with minimum 55% of marks from a recognized Board.
Note:
- In pursuance of the Govt. OM No. ASE.238/2014/213, dtd. 22.11.2019, those institutions having territorial jurisdiction outside the State of Assam but having a study centre in the State and such study centres if not recognized by DEC under UGC, Page 3 of 8 the degrees/ certificates issued by such off campus institutions shall not be considered as valid for the purpose of employment. However, valid degrees/ diplomas conferred by KKHSOU, IGNOU, IDOL under Gauhati University and Distance Education under Dibrugarh University shall be considered as valid for the purpose of engagement.
- As Adarsha Vidyalayas are CBSE affiliated English medium secondary school, the candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent Examination with English as the medium of instruction.
- Apart from the competency in Major subject, he/she must be proficient to teach two additional subjects.

How to Apply for AVS Assam Recruitment ?
Interested candidates must submit the online application through the website https://dte.assam.gov.in . Candidates will have to apply separately for each district, post and will have to deposit application fees for all applied districts and position separately. The eligible candidates shall apply online in the official website of Directorate of Technical Education, Assam i.e. https://dte.assam.gov.in where the link for on-line application shall shortly available. No offline application shall be accepted in this regard.

Documents uploaded as mentioned below should be coloured scanned and clear in PDF format while uploading and applying online and all documents should be self attested.
1. Passport Sized Colour Photograph with white background.
2. HSLC Admit Card (Age Proof).

4. HSSLC Mark–sheet and Pass Certificate.
5. Graduation Mark–sheet and Pass Certificate (In case of candidates for the posts of Graduate Teacher (Arts and Science), Candidates shall submit all Mark–sheets (Year– wise/ Semester–wise) and Pravin/ Ratna final examination mark–sheet and certificate in case of Hindi Posts.
6. Post–Graduation Mark–sheet and Pass Certificate.
7. Mark–sheet and Certificates of any other educational qualification (if available).
8. B.Ed./Parangat Mark–sheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Pass Certificate.
