Assam Direct Recruitment 2022
Online Application are invited from intending eligible applicants, who are citizens of India having registration number in the employment exchange of the state of Assam, for filling up 13,300 tentative vacant posts of Class-IV and 13,141 nos. of Vacant Grade-III posts (tentative) under different establishments/department under Govt of Assam.
The applicants of Grade-IV posts under DEE and DTE, against which recruitment process was cancelled, can view their names in the website of SEBA from 11:00 AM of 6th August to 5:00 PM of 16th August 2022 and subsequently login into the portal of State Level Recruitment Examinations for Class-IV posts. Thereafter, by using their application number (of cancelled advertisement), name and date of birth, they can gain access to the portal and do the needful for appearing in exam at the date which will be notified later by the Commission. A. Grade-III Vacancy Details
1. Category I ( Accountant/Cashier/Jr.
Asstt./LDA/Stenographer etc)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree with
Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 06 (six) months duration from a
recognized Institution.
Or
Bachelor's Degree.
2. Category II (Field Assistant,
Fieldman, Foreman, section Asstt.,soil conservation Field worker Jr,
Agriculture Extension Assistant etc.)

B. Grade-IV Vacancy Details:
1. Read up to Class-VIII
(Minimum)
No. of Post: 9,000 nos.
2. HSLC (Class Ten) or
equivalent examination passed.
No. of Post: 4,300 nos.
Maximum Educational qualification: The maximum eligibility qualification for all Class-IV posts shall be HSSLC (Class 12) or equivalent examination passed and those who have educational qualification higher than this maximum eligibility educational qualification on the date of application shall not be eligible to apply for any of the post or category of posts mentioned above.
Age limit for Assam Direct Recruitment 2022
The applicant shall not be less
than 18 years or more than 40 years of age on 01.01.2022
The upper age limit is
relaxable only as stipulated below:
- a) 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- b) 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
- c) 2 years for Ex-serviceman candidates.
- d) 10 years for PWD candidates.

Grade-III
- I) Rs.350/- for UR and OBC/MOBC candidates.
- II) Rs.250/- for SC,ST(P) and ST(H) candidates.
Grade-IV
- I) Rs.200/- for UR and OBC/MOBC candidates.

FAQs of Assam Direct Recruitment
1) If I do not have Employment Exchange
Registered Number, can I apply for the posts?
Ans: No, you cannot .
Before filling up of application form for the recruitment, you will have to get
your name registered in the Employment Exchange located in Assam and provide
the valid registered number.
2) Can I apply against multiple posts?
Ans: Yes, you can.
The suggestions are provided below. A) For the candidates having Driving
license -
- i) If
the Applicant has Driving License and has Graduate Degree with Diploma in
Computer then he/she is eligible to apply for all four categories (A, B, C
& D) if he/she so desires .Then he/she may click ‘Yes’ Button of A, B,
C and D and this is to be done in one go.
- ii)If the
Applicant has Driving License and also has Graduate Degree then he/she is
eligible to apply for following three categories if he/she so desires –
(a) Graduate, (b) HSSLC and (c) Driver . So, He/She may click on ‘YES’
button for A,C and D category and ‘NO’ for B .
- iii) If
the Applicant has driving license and has passed HSSLC, he/she is eligible
to apply for the following two categories – (a) HSSLC (b)Driver (C)and (D)
if he/she so desires. Then he/she may click on ‘YES’ button for C and D
and ‘NO’ for A and B category.
- iv) If
the Applicant has passed HSLC or equivalent examination and has Driving
License, then he/she will be eligible to apply for the post of Driver
only, i.e only for category D and so, he/ she may click ‘Yes’ for D and
‘No’ for A,B and C
3) If I am Graduate and have degree or
diploma in Computer then how many posts can I apply for ?
Ans : For the
Applicant having Graduate Degree and having Diploma in Computer, then he/she
will eligible to apply for following three categories if he/she so desires:
- i) Graduate
(A),
- ii) Graduate
with Computer (B),
- iii) HSSLC
(C)
Therefore, he/she may click ‘Yes’
for A, B, C and ‘No’ for D
4) If am a Graduate, how many posts can
I apply for ?
Ans : For
applicant who is a graduate then he/she is eligible to apply for two categories
of posts if he/she so desires-
- i) Graduate
Degree(A)
- ii) HSSLC
Therefore he/ she may click ‘Yes’
for B & C and ‘No’ for A & D .
5) If I am HSSLC or Equivalent pass ,
how many posts can I apply for?
Ans : If the
candidate is HSSLC or Equivalent passed then he/she is eligible to apply for
only one post, i.e, For HSSLC or Equivalent ( C).
Therefore, he/she has to click on ‘Yes’ button for category C and ‘No’ for A, B
and D
6) If my marksheets is based on GPA/CGPA
formula?
Ans : If
marks are provided in the marksheet on GPA/CGPA basis then the PC(%) of marks
will have to be calculated by the applicant as per the GPA/CGPA formula
provided in the marksheet itself.
7) If I do not have AADHAR Card, can I
apply for the post?
Ans : ‘Yes’
you can . AADHAR Card is not mandatory for filling up the application.
8) What are the documents I need to
upload?
Ans : The applicant has to upload only the photograph and
scanned signature as specified. All other documents will be verified at the
appropriate time before final selection. The information provided in the
application must be in conformity with the testimonials available with you. In
case of false information or hiding of facts, your application will stand
cancelled and you may be liable to be prosecuted as per prevailing Acts and
Rules.
9) When will my application be finally
accepted?
Ans : The application of the applicant will be finally
accepted only after the payment of requisite fee, as mentioned in the
advertisement, is made through online payment gateway.
10) How much fee should I have to pay?
Ans : A candidate has to make the payment as given in the
Advertisement against the number of posts/ categories of posts applied for. For
eg: if a candidate applies for one post then he/she will have to pay only Rs
350(for UR and OBC/MOBC candidates) and Rs 250 (for SC,ST(P) and ST(H)
candidates) and if he/she applies for two posts /categories of posts then
he/she will have to pay Rs 700and Rs500 , for candidates applying for three
posts will have to pay Rs1050 and Rs750 and candidates applying for all the
four categories will have to pay Rs 1400 and Rs 1000 respectively.
11) If I have a Degree in Computer
Science, do I have to possess a Diploma as well?
Ans :Applicants possessing degree in Computer Science, i.e.
BCA/MCA/B-Tech/ B.E./others are not required to furnish Computer certificate
/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration.
12) What should be my Age limit for
applying for the posts?
Ans : As per
the Advertisement, “The candidate should not be less than 18 years and more
than 40 years of age as on 01-01-2022”
