Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 690 posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Posts. Interested and eligible candidates may apply.

Reservation: UR: 536, SC: 103 & ST: 51
Educational Qualification: Graduate from any recognized University.
Service Eligibility: Candidate should have completed five years of regular service including basic training in the grade or five years combined regular service as Constable/GD, Head Constable/GD and Constable/TM as on 01.08.2020 as mentioned in Para-2 see the advertisement.
Upper age limit: 35 years as on 01.08.2020 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1985. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates. No age relaxation is applicable for OBC candidates as no vacancy is reserved for OBC category. OBC candidates can apply as General candidates.
CISF ASI Physical Standard details
(i) Height
For candidates belonging to General or other Backward Class or Scheduled Caste
- Male: 170 cms & Female: 157 cms
Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Dogras, Maratas and candidates belonging to the States/UTs of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
- Male: 165 cms & Female: 155 cms
For candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes Categories
- Male: 162.5 cms & Female: 154 cms
For candidates failing in the categories of Gorkhas and Scheduled Tribes of North Eastern States
- Male: 157 cms & Female: 157 cms
(ii) Chest (For male only)
- For all candidates (Except Scheduled Tribes): 80-85 cms
- All candidates belonging of Scheduled Tribes: 77-82 cms
(iii) Weight for all candidates
Corresponding to height and age as per medical standard (For Male & Female)
(iv) Medical Standard:
1. Visual Acuity unaided (Near vision)
- Better eye-N6, Worse eye-N9
2. Uncorrected Visual Acuity (Distant Vision)
- Better eye 6/6, worse eye 6/9
3. Refraction: Visual correction of any kind is not permitted even by glasses

How to Apply CISF ASI Jobs 2021
- It should be ensured that applications in respect of all eligible personnel of the unit have been obtained in the prescribed format and forwarded to the concerned Zonal DISG (i.e., DIG (NZ-I) New Delhi, DIG(SZ-1) Chennai, DIG(WZ) Mumbai, DIG(EZ-1) Patna, DIG(SEZ-1) Kolkata, DIG (NCR) New Delhi, DIG (CZ) Bhilai and DIG (NEZ) Guwahati as the case may be so as to reach them on or before 12.02.2021.
- Latest colour passport size photograph of the candidate in uniform without cap should cap should be affixed on the right corner of the application form for the post of ASI/Exe(LDCE)-2020 i.e. Appendix-A.
