Indian Air Force (IAF) has a recruitment notification in its official website afcat.cdac.in notification for 235 posts of AFCAT (01/2021) for Flying Branch & Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. NCC Special Entry for Courses Commencing in January 2022.

Indian Air Force Vacancy 2020 Details

 

1. Flying – AFCAT Entry

 

No. of Post: 69 [SSC-69]

 

Educational Qualification:  

(i) Flying Branch. Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and

(a) Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Or,

(b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Or,

(c) Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

 

2. Ground Duty (Technical) – AFCAT Entry

 

No. of Post: 96 [AE(L) : PC –27 SSC – 40; AE(M) : PC - 12,SSC – 17]

 

Educational Qualification:  Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/Technology from recognized University OR cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

 

3. Ground Duty (Non-Technical) – AFCAT Entry

 

No. of Posts: 70 [Admin : PC - 12,SSC – 19; Accts : PC - 06,SSC – 10; Lgs : PC- 09, SSC-14]

 

Educational Qualification:  Passed 10+2 and Graduate Degree (Minimum three years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

 

4. Flying (NCC Special Entry)

 

No. of Post: 10% seats out of CDSE vacancies for PC and 10%seats out of AFCAT vacancies for SSC.

 

Educational Qualification:  

(i) Flying Branch. Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and

(a) Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Or,

(b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Or,

(c) Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

 

Age limit of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2020

(i) Flying Branch. 20 to 24 years as on 01 January 2022 i.e. born between 02 January 1998 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 year i.e. born between 02 January 1996 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive).

(ii) Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches. 20 to 26 years as on 01 January 2022 i.e. born between 02 January 1996 to 01 January 2002 (both dates inclusive).

 

How to Apply Indian Air Force Recruitment 2020

Registration for Online Applications will open on 01 Dec 2020 And Close On 30 Dec 2020 Through https://afcat.cdac.in

Online testing will be conducted for AFCAT entry at various centers.

 

Examination Fees: Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs. 250/- (non-refundable) as examination fee. However, candidates registering for NCC Special entry are not required to pay. Details of conduct of exam, examination centers and mode of payment are available in the notification.
