- Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or
- With 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 of Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs 4200/- in the parent cadre or department
Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- Two years experience in handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or Information Technology cases or Training in counter-terrorism.
Salary: Leve-7 in Pay Matrix
(pre-revised PB-2 (Rs 9300-34800/-) with Grade Pay Rs.4600/-

- With 6 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the Pay Band-I of Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs 2800/- in the parent cadre or department
Education Qualification
- Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university; and
- Experience of two years in the handling of cases of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operation or Information Technology cases or Training in counter-terrorism.
Salary: Pay Matrix Level-6
(Rs.35,400/- to 1, 12,400/-) (pre-revised PB-2 (Rs 9300-34800/-) with Grade Pay
Rs 4200/-)

- One rank up if, HCs (pay scale PB-I with GP 2400 pre-revised) with 5 years regular services in the grade, and
Education Qualification
- Graduation from a recognized
- Experience of at least 02 years in the field of investigation of criminal cases, or intelligence work or operations or information technology management.
Salary: Pay Matrix Level-5 (Rs.29,200/- to 92,300/-)
(pre-revised PB-2 (Rs 9300-34800/-) with Grade Pay Rs 2800/-)
