Assam State AIDS Control Society (ASACS) has released an advertisement for the
recruitment of 5 Medical Officer, Counsellor, Data Manager and Staff Nurse vacancy.
ASACS Recruitment 2021 Details:
1. Medical Officer
No of posts: 2
Educational Qualification:
OST Centre: MBBS. Candidates with MD in Psychiatry / Diploma in
Psychiatry Medicine will be preferred. The candidates must have valid
registration with the concerned Medical Council.
FIART Centre: MBBS. Preference will be given to the candidate
trained by NACO at one of the NACO designated training centres. The candidates
must have valid registration with the concerned Medical Council
Pay: Rs. 50,000/- per month
Age Limit: Age should not be more
than 65 years as on 01/01/2021
2. Counsellor
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
Post Graduate degree / diploma in Psychology / Social Work /
Sociology/Anthropology/ Human Development / Nursing with minimum 1 year
experience of working in the field of counseling in health sector, preferably
training in counseling drug users and working with drug users.
For people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV), Graduate in
Psychology/Social Work/Sociology /Anthropology/ Human Development / Nursing
with minimum 1 year experience of working in the field of counseling in health
sector, preferably training in counseling drug users and working with drug
users.
Diploma in Computer Applications from a Govt. recognized
institute.
# Candidates should be proficient to read and write in English and in local
language
Pay: Rs. 13,000/- per month
Age Limit: Age should not be more
than 60 years as on 01/01/2021
3. Data Manager
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification: Graduate (preferably with commerce
background) with Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute or
university or “O” Level course from DOEACC.
Pay: Rs. 13,000/- per month
Age Limit: Age should not be more
than 60 years as on 01/01/2021
4. Staff Nurse
No of posts: 1
Educational Qualification:
ANM from Govt. recognized institutions. Diploma Nursing/B.Sc Nursing will be
preferred.
The candidates must have valid registration with the concerned
Nursing Council.
Pay: Rs. 9,000/- per month
Age Limit: Age should not be more
than 60 years as on 01/01/2021

The applicants should come with all original testimonials.
A standard form of application along with a set of self-attested photocopies of
all original documents and a recent passport size photograph should be
submitted before the interview board.
Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear in the written test and
/or viva voce interview.
They should produce proof of photo identity (Passport / Voter Card / Aadhar
Card / Driving License / PAN Card etc.) to the interview board for appearing in
the interview.
