A walk-in-interview will be held for appointment of Project Assistants
(2 nos.) under the Central Silk Board,
Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of
India funded projects for 3
years. The mode engagement/appointment shalll be temporary contract basis for the period for which the project exists
only. The details of the Vacancies
are as follows:
A.
Name of The Project: Genetic enhancement of Castor (Ricinus communis L.)
germplasm as a source material for development of productive perennial
varieties (PIB05005SI).
- Name of the post: Project Assistant (One)
- Qualifications: Graduate in Science. Candidates having knowledge of basics of breeding and genetics will be preferred.
- Pay: Rs.12,000/ PM Only
B.
Name of The Project: Breeding of muga silkworms for improved silk quality and disease
tolerance (AIB05006SI).
- Name of the post: Project Assistant (One)
- Qualifications: Graduate in Science. Candidates having knowledge of basics of breeding and genetics will be preferred.
- Pay: Rs.12,000/ PM Only

- Interested candidates may appear in walk-in-Interview to be held at the institute on 11th Nov, 2019 from 10 AM onwards.
- All the candidates who will be going to appear the interview are asked to produce the original documents and to submit a complete bio-data at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing the interview.
