Date and Time Schedule of Assam TET 2019
Exam Date: 10 November, 2019
The examination for the Paper 1 i.e. Lower Primary TET exam will start at 8:30 AM and the Paper 2 examination i.e. the Upper Primary TET will begin at 12:30 PM on November 10 in around 33 districts of Assam.
At the end of Application around 6 (six) Lakhs of Candidates apply for the said TET Exam.
The Last Date of Application for physically challenge candidates has been extended to 27th November. So there may be increase in total number of applicants.
Guideline for TET
1. All metallic things including mobiles, electronic devices, Watches, garments of Ladies candidates, bags, water bottle are prohibited within the TET exam campus.
2. Candidates can use both blue and black pen for darkening OMR sheet.
3. The candidates will have to sign their answer scripts before leaving the Examination hall, otherwise, they will be considered as absentees.
The decision regarding this was taken by the State Education Department during a meeting at the SEBA office.
The officials of the education department have informed that the DCs and SDCs, as well as the respective Police stations of the districts, will take care the security measures at the examination centres.
The Assam TET examination will be conducted after a gap of seven years and it will also be the first TET examination to be held by BJP government came to power in the State.
No. of Vacancies
There are 17,292 posts of teachers are lying vacant across the State. Among these, 10,137 are in the LP level and 7,155 posts are lying vacant in the UP level.
