Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services (ARIAS) Society has
invited application for the recruitment of 15 Data Analyst, District
Environment Coordinator and Assistant Seed Certification Officer posts on
purely temporary contractual basis. Interested and eligible candidates may

ARIAS Society Recruitment 2023
1.
Data Analyst (DA)
No of posts: 01 post
Pay: Rs.6.60 lakh to Rs.10.80 lakh per year
Essential Qualification: Master in Statistics/Economics or closely
related subject from any recognized university. Should have good skills on Data
administration, data management, and computer and information technology.
Experience: The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience
from the date of passing his/her required educational qualification in Data
Analysis of projects for any public or private sector organization. In case,
sufficient candidates with 5 years of experience in the field cited above are
not available, the interview panel may allow candidates having less than 5
years of experience to appear before the interview panel and if selected they
will be hired at a lower remuneration.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in the use of Internet based
applications, Graphics, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point, advanced
statistical tools, excellent data mining & analytical skills and other
related applications.
Language: High levels of proficiency in English and Assamese.
Working knowledge of Hindi would be an added advantage.
Age Limit: Age of the candidate should not
be more than 50 years as on 1st June, 2023.

2. District Environment Coordinator (DEC)
No of posts: 02 posts
Pay: Rs.4.20 Lakh per year
Essential Qualification: Master degree/ post Graduate Diploma (minimum
two years duration) in Ecology & Environment / Environmental Science/ Life
Science/ Zoology/ Botany. A combination of several specializations and/or
additional trainings would be an asset
Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the field
of Environment Management and related activities.
Computer Skills: The DEC must have proven experience of using Internet
based applications, using and working with advanced word processing/spreadsheet
including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point and other related applications.
Place of posting: Sonitpur & Sivasagar.
Age Limit: The candidate shall not be of more than 45 years of age
as on 1st June 2023
Date of Walk-in Interview: 18th May,2023 (9.30 AM - 11.00 AM)
3. Assistant Seed Certification Officer (ASCO)
No of posts: 12 posts
Pay: Rs.4.80 Lakh per year
Essential Qualification: Bachelors in Agriculture.
Experience: While fresher’s may apply, 1-2 years of experience in seed
related activities is preferred.
Computer Skills: Must have proficiency in the use of Internet based
applications, Graphics, MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point and other related
applications.
Language: Fluency in English and Hindi & Assamese. Knowledge of
other local languages will be added advantage.
Age Limit: The candidate shall not be of more than 35 years of age as
on 1st June 2023

the office of the ARIAS Society, Agriculture Complex, Khanapara, G.S.
Road, Guwahati-781022. Candidates arriving upto 11.00 AM on the date
of Walk-in-Interview may be considered/entertained for the selection process
only at the discretion of SPD, ARIAS Society.
The
original certificates/documents will be returned after corroboration with the
self-attested copies to be brought by the candidates. If at any stage, it is
found that information furnished in the application or supporting documents is
misleading/misrepresented/incomplete/false, candidature shall be liable for
cancellation. In case of exceptionally talented candidates, SPD may relax the
age limit of all the mentioned positions.
