Deputy Commissioner, Goalpara has released an advertisement for
the recruitment of 234 Gaon Pradhan vacancy. Applications are hereby invited
from the intending candidates as per Assam Gazette Part-IX
(Standard Form) for filling up of vacant posts of "Gaon
Pradhan" against the concerned lots of 05 (five) Revenue Circles of this
district indicated below.

Qualifications for Goalpara Gaon Pradhan Recruitment
- 1. The applicant should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area in respect of which he / she seeks appointment
- 2. The applicant should be minimum 30 (thirty) years of age as on 01.01.2023
- 3. The applicant should be minimum 10th pass from a Board / Institution recognized by the State Government
- 4. The applicant should be physically fit and of sound mind.
- 5. The applicant should not have been declared insolvent or defaulter in payment of Govt. dues. In this regard candidates should submit Bakijai Clearance Certificate, House Tax Clearance Certificate & Land revenue payment receipt from the concerned authorities.
- 6. The applicant should not be a Government employee.
- 7. The applicant should have landed property / immovable property in his / her name in the area in which he /she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
- 8. The applicant should not be a member of any Political party.
- 9. The applicant should have a high status and command and have a respectable position in the society.
- 10. The applicant should have worked / volunteered for advancement of the Government policies and programmes and rendered assistance in natural calamities.
- 11. The applicant should not have more than 02 (two) living children from a single or multiple parents provided that this provision should not be applicable in respect of those candidates n who have more than 02 (two) children prior to the date of coming into force of the Govt. Notification No. RLR.187/2007/Pt/24 Dated 19.07.2019 published in the Assam Gazette a on 02.08.2019, hence the effect of the Notification is 02.08.2019.
- 12. The applicant should furnish an affidavit at the time of submission of application declaring that he / she has not more than 02 (two) living children from a single or multiple parents.
How to Apply for Goalpara Gaon Pradhan Recruitment
The application should be submitted in the Standard Form as
published in the Assam Gazette in Part-IX in a sealed envelope
addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Goalpara and
should be submitted in the RKG Branch, office of the Deputy Commissioner,
Goalpara. Application should be sent
either through post or to be delivered by hand in the drop
box kept for the purpose in the respective Revenue Circle Office, Goalpara. Post applied
for shall be superscripted on the sealed envelope.
The applicants are required to submit the following documents
along with the application form:
1. The applicants must submit self
attested copies of education qualification (minimum HSLC
Mark sheet & Pass Certificate, HSLC Admit Card / Birth Certificate etc.)
along with the application form and
03 (three) copies of Self Attested Recent Coloured Passport Size Photographs
(one of which should be pasted on the Application Form.
2. The applicant shall furnish
their Mobile Number, WhatsApp number and mail ID (if any) on the
Application Form for smooth communication of information relating to the conduct of
examination.
3. The applicant must submit
Bakijai Clearance Certificate.
4. The applicants must submit proof of documents of permanent resident in
which he /she wants to apply for the post of Gaon Pradhan.
5. The applicant must submit proof of
documents of landed property/immovable property in his
/ her name in the area in which he /she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
6. The applicant must submit details of
Family members (Name, Age, Date of Birth, relationship with the
applicant etc.) in the form of affidavit. Photocopy of birth certificates of the
children needs to be enclosed.
7. The applicant must categorically mention
the name of the Gaon Pradhan Lot in which he/she intends to apply,
