Applications are invited from the
Girl students pursuing Post Graduate degree in 1st year or 2nd year in all
Universities of Assam, Autonomous colleges and other Colleges for providing
Mobility Grant as per Govt. O.M. No.AHE.794/2019/31 dated 08.08.2022 and as per
changes made in the earlier OM.
Directorate
of Higher Education (DHE), Assam has initiated a new
scholarship scheme named Mobility Grant. This scholarship scheme
awards Rs.10,000/- per year as Mobility Grant to all the Girl
students pursuing Post Graduate Degree in 1st year or 2nd year in all
Universities of Assam, Autonomous Colleges and Other Colleges . Only female/
girl students may apply for this scholarship, male students are not eligible to
apply.

Objective of the DHE
Mobility Grant Scheme:
The
main objective of Mobility Grants to Post Graduate Girls Student are as below :

To attract girl students of weaker section to continue Higher Education.
(2)
Empowerment of women.
(3)
To relieve the burden of parents.
Eligibility Criteria of PG Girl Scholarship Assam :
Students
must fulfill following criteria to be eligible to apply for Mobility Grant
Scheme under DHE, Assam.
Gender: The
Girl students studying in Post Graduate 1st year or 2nd year during the year
2022.
Course: Only
regular Girl PG students studying in all Universities of Assam, Autonomous
colleges and other colleges can avail the grant.
Family
Income: Family income must be below Rs. 5.00 Lakh per
annum.
Bank
Account: The Girl students must have an active Bank
Account in their name in a Nationalized Bank.
How to Apply for Assam PG Girl Scholarship:
Intending
girl students fulfilling the above mentioned criteria may apply through
prescribed Online Portal https://directorateofhighereducation.assam.gov.in
or https://dhemobilitygrant.amtron.in
to avail the Mobility Grant for the academic Session 2022-23.
Required Documents for PG Girl Scholarship:
Following scanned documents need to uploaded along with DHE Mobility Grant Online Form
- 1. Passport photo.
- 2. Scan copy of Signature of the girl students.
- 3. Latest Income Certificate of the parents/ guardians issued by the competent authority of the State Governments.
- 4. Readable Photostat copy of 1st page of Active Bank Passbook of the Applicant.
- 5. Identity card.
- 6. PAN Card and AADHAAR Card.

- Starting Date of online application submission: 25th December 2022
- Last Date of online application submission: 14th January 2023
