Assam of 20 Scientific Officer and Junior Scientific Officer Posts. The
appointment will be purely on Ad-hoc basis for a period of 4(four) months.

Essential Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics

2. Scientific Officer for Regional Forensic Science

Scientific Officer for Mobile Forensic Laboratories under the Directorate of
Forensic Science, Assam
Number of Post: 7 (Seven)
Pay Scale: Pay Band – 3: Rs 22,000/- to
Rs.97,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 11,800/-

Candidates are required to upload a latest passport size photograph, photocopy
of the Admit Card/ Certificate of HSLC Examination(for age proof), Marksheets
of Graduation and Post Graduation along with Analytical/Research Experience
Certificate (if available), Scanned signature and Caste Certificate(in case of
reserved category candidate). No documents i.e. the hard copy of the online
application form, registration slip, etc. are required to be sent to the Directorate of Forensic
Science, Assam.

Selection Process of Directorate of Forensic Science
Assam Recruitment
There will be no
written examination for all the above prescribed posts.
Candidates will be
shortlisted and selected on the basis of 70% weightage on academic performance
and 30% weightage on viva voce.
The breakup of the weightage will be:
- Marks obtained in B.Sc. = 20% weightage
- If Hons. in B.Sc. = 10 marks
- M.Sc marks = 30% weightage
- M.Phil = 5 marks
- Ph.D = 5 marks
- Viva-voce = 30 marks
- Total = 100 marks
