Assam Direct Recruitment Grade-III Syllabus
The Candidates who applied for Grade-Ill and whose applications are found correct in all respects will be called for a Written Test, which will be conducted in the District Headquarters or any other convenient venue(s) depending upon the number of candidates.
The candidates will have to appear for the Written Test in the venue mentioned in his/her Admit Card. However, the Chairman of the Selection Committee, Assam reserves the right to change the venue (s) of the test as per convenience, and no representation, etc. will be entertained in this regard.
The duration of the Written Test will be of 2 hours on the subjects as given below. The test will be 100 marks with 100 questions and will be completely OMR-based. Each question will carry a 1 (one) mark. The candidates will have to use a black ball pen to answer the OMR-based answer sheet.
- Total no of Questions: 100 questions
- Total no of Mark: 100 marks
- Mark System: 1 (one) mark for right answers and ½ mark for each wrong answer
- Duration of the exam: 2(two) hours
- Type of answer sheet: OMR based answer sheet
- Question Paper Language: Assamese/ Bodo/ Bengali/English.

Assam Direct Recruitment Grade-IV Syllabus
The official selection process for the grade 4 posts is to carry
out in two ways which is mandatory for the applicants applied for the said
post. The two processes are Written and interviews.
Written Test Procedure
The job applicants who applied for the Grade IV post and whose
applications are found correct in all aspects for the post will be named out
for a written test consisting of 50 marks covering General Awareness/General
Knowledge/ Current Affairs/ General English/ General Mathematics of Class VIII
standards syllabus. The duration of the Written Test will be of 1(one) hour and
each question will carry 1 (one) mark it is completely an OMR-based
examination. The job applicants will have to use a black ball pen to answer the
OMR-based answer solution
Interview Procedure for Assam Grade IV
Recruitment
The job applicants who applied for the Grade IV post and whose
applications are found correct in all aspects have to appear in a written test
organised by the board after the written test procedure the progressive outcome
job applicants have to appear in an interview session after that a merit list
will be generated and accordingly call letter will be provided by the selection
committee.
Note: The scheme of
examination shall be strictly as per the “Assam Direct Recruitment for
Class-Ill and Class-IV Analogous Posts Rules, 2022”, as amended from time to
time. Further, this scheme will be published at least one week before the
conduct of the written test.
Note: The selected
candidate will have to bring all the original testimonials i.e. Certificate of
proof of age, Caste Certificate (in case of reserved category candidates),
Educational Qualification Certificates, Economically Weaker Section
Certificate, Disability Certificate (in case of PWBD candidates) and
Declaration in Form- “A” under Rule 5(1) of the Assam Public Services
(Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019 for
verification at the time to be notified later on, amongst others. An
undertaking with regards to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria has to be uploaded
in the portal. The Discharge certificate will be required in the case of an
Ex-serviceman.
