Office of the Director General Assam Rifles, Shillong has invited application for the recruitment of 152 Rifleman GD, Clerk, Radio Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant, Nursing Assistant and other vacancy under the Compassionate Ground Appointment Scheme.
1.
Rifleman General Duty (GD) (for Male and Female both)
No of posts: 94
Age Limit: 18- 23 years as of 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification: 10th Class Pass from a recognized Board.
2. Havildar Clerk (for Male and Female both)
No of posts: 4
Age Limit: 18- 23 years as of 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification:
Intermediate or 10+2 exam Pass.
Skill Test Norms on Computer: English typing 35 WPM on computer OR Hindi typing
30 WPM on the computer (Time allowed-10 minutes).
3. Warrant Officer Radio Mechanic (RM) (Male candidates only)
No of posts: 4
Age Limit: 18- 23 years as of 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification:
10th with a diploma in Radio and Television Technology or Electronics or
Telecommunications or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or
Domestic appliances
OR
12th Standard or Intermediate or equivalent with 50% Marks with Physics,
Chemistry, and Mathematics.
4. Havildar Operator Radio & Line (for Male Candidates only)
No of posts: 37
Age Limit: 18- 23 years as of 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification:
10th from a recognized board and two years ITI in Radio and Television or
Electronics
OR
12th class pass or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as
subjects of study from a recognized Board.
5. Rifleman Armourer (for Male candidates only)
No of posts: 2
Age Limit: 18- 23 years as of 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification: 10th Class pass from a recognized Board.
6. Rifleman Laboratory Assistant (for Male Candidates only)
No of posts: 1
Age Limit: 18- 23 years as of 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification: 10th Class passed with English, Maths,
Science, and Biology from a recognized board.
7. Rifleman Nursing Assistant (for Male candidates only)
No of posts: 5
Age Limit: 18- 23 years as of 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification: 10th Class passed with English,
Mathematics, and Science with Biology from a recognized board.
8. Rifleman Washerman (for Male candidates only)
No of posts: 4
Age Limit: 18- 23 years as of 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification: 10th Class pass from a recognized Board
9. Rifleman AYA (for Female candidates only)
No of posts: 1
Age Limit: 18- 23 years as of 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification: 10th Class pass from a recognized Board
Note:
Only one dependent family member of ASSAM RIFLES personnel who was KILLED IN
ACTION, DIED WHILE IN SERVICE, DISCHARGED FROM SERVICE ON MEDICAL GROUNDS AND
MISSING WHILE IN SERVICE ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR COMPASSIONATE GROUND
APPOINTMENT.

“APPLICATION FOR COMPASSIONATE GROUND APPOINTMENT” be endorsed on top of
the postal envelope in which the application is being submitted.
The last date of receipt of applications from eligible candidates is 12
March 2022.
The candidates may also upload scanned copies of their application alongwith
requisite connected documents in our official e-mail id rectbrdgar@gmail.com till last date
of receipt of the applications.
The recruitment rally will tentatively be held from 02 May 2022 onwards
at Headquarters Directorate General Assam Rifles, Laitkor, Shillong (Meghalaya)
NRS- Guwahati (Assam).
The firm Date of reporting to attend the recruitment rally will be intimated to
the eligible candidates by registered post followed by uploading of necessary
details on our official website assamrifles.gov.in from time to time.
