Assam science and Technology University has released a notification for the
recruitment or 2 Chief Engineer (contractual post) and Library Assistant
(Technical) (contractual post) for a period of 06 months initially Interested
and eligible candidates may apply here.
1. Chief Engineer

Educational Qualification and excellence:
- B.E.B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized University with at least 15 years’ experience in the construction of Building. Roads etc in office of the Public Work Department of the Government or any statutory bodies. Preference will be given to candidates having experience as Superintending Engineer/Executive Engineer during service period
Age: should not be more than 65 years as on
01 01 2021
Remuneration: Rs.60,000-perr month all inclusive.
2. Library Assistant (Technical)

Essential Qualification:
- Degree in Library Science from a recognised University.
- Knowledge of Computer Operation in Library work is mandatory. It includes-(i) Knowledge and experience of working with any standard "Library Automation Software” for House Keeping activities in the library such as cataloguing, acquisition and circulation etc. and (ii) Knowledge and experience of computerized search both of on-line and off-line databases including retrieval of desired information through various search engines/processes; plagiarism check software experience is required.
- Knowledge of report compilation, processing of book! e- book. joumal/ e-journal procurement , minutes preparation of library related meetings, library organization etc.
- Organization of webinars/ online workshops for the university.
Desirable: Diploma in Computer Applications from
a recognised University or Institute.
Age: Not more than 44 years as on 01/01/2021. Age relaxation
of 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Remuneration: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 18,000/-
(Rupees Eighteen Thousand Only)- per month all inclusive.
