The
ARIAS Society in association with Assam State Seed Certification Agency (ASSCA)
and Assam Agricultural University (AAU) intends to hire Individual Consultants
under the World Bank financed ‘Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation
Project’ (APART) for the position mentioned below. The draft Terms of Reference
(TORs) for the positions are provided in the website http://www.arias.in/career.html .
The minimum required qualifications, experience, age and annual remuneration
range for the positions in‐short are given below.
However, the same shall be as per the respective TOR provided in the website of
ARIAS Society
1. Seed Certification Assistant
No of posts: 6
Educational Qualification: Bachelors in Agriculture .
Experience: While Freshers may apply, preference will be given to
candidates having 1-2 years in seed related activities .
2. Project Appraisal Expert
No of posts: 10 [Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat: 6, AIDC-
Guwahati: 4]
Assam Agricultural University (AAU):
Educational
Qualification: Master degree/
Post Graduate Diploma (min 2 years duration) in Finance/Business
Administration/International Business/ Economics/ Agribusiness or a closely
related field.
Experience: At least seven (7) years of experience in Project
appraisal, evaluation, and business plan preparation, financial analysis, etc
and managing or working with FPCs or other farm collectives.
AIDC- Guwahati:
Educational Qualification: Master degree/ Post Graduate Diploma (min 2
years duration) in Finance/Business Administration/International Business/
Economics or a closely related field.
Experience: At least seven (7) years of experience in Project
appraisal, evaluation, business plan preparation, financial analysis, etc.
Seed Certification Assistant: Potential
candidates from India having the requisite qualification and experience may
