Tribes & Backward Classes (WPT & BC), Assam has
released a Notification for OBC Merit Scholarship 2020 for Financial Assistance to
the meritorious OBC/MOBC
students for the year
2020-21. The application form can be downloaded from the official

This scheme will provide Financial Assistance under the scheme
of “Special Financial Incentive to OBC/MOBC Meritorious Students”.
Eligible candidates may apply here in the prescribed format.

Eligibility for WPT&BC
Assam Scholarship for OBC Students 2020:
Educational Qualification: Students must have secured 80% or above in Matriculation and 75%
or above in 10 + 2 examination.
Percentage of Marks: This
incentive shall be awarded only to the meritorious students who have secured
the prescribed percentage of marks or grades in the academic year 2020-21. No
claim would be considered who have qualified the examination prior to 1st
January, 2020.
Income: There is no
income criterion of Parents/ Guardians for availing this benefit.
