ITI Scholarship Assam 2020:

are hereby invited from intending ST students for “Stipend for craftsmen Training (ITI Scholarships) to ST students”
pursuing various ITI courses in various Govt. recognized ITI institutes of
Assam for the year 2020-21.

Eligibility Criteria for ITI Scholarship 2020 Assam:
- (a) Stipend will be awarded to students whose parents/ guardian's income from all sources does not exceed 2.50 lakhs per annum.
- (b) Students are required to have their individual Bank Account as be made through DBT only.
N:B: Students who have opted to apply for scholarships through
the National Scholarship Portal for the year 2020-21 will not be eligible to
apply for the same.
Courses Covered by ITI Scholarship Assam:
- The scholarship/ stipend shall be given to the ST students studying in various ITI institutes in the state of Assam pursuing courses like Mechanic (Motor vehicle), Electronic, Mechanic, Fitters, Machinist, Electrician, Computer Operating & Programming Assistant, Basic Cosmetology or any other ITI courses as recognized by the State Government.
Stipend of ITI Scholarship 2020 Assam:
- Rs.500/- per month for 10 months i.e each student will be awarded an amount of 5000/- per annum.
How to Apply For Assam ITI
Scholarship 2020:
- Students have to apply in the prescribed format uploaded in the official website www.directorwptbc.assam.gov.in for the same along with all relevant documents and submit their duly filled up form to their respective Head of the ITI institutes within 20th December, 2020.
On receipt of applications from the students the Head of the institutes are requested to verify the applications along with their submitted documents and prepare the proposal as per prescribed format (Annexure-l) uploaded in the aforesaid website and submit the same along with a soft copy in excel sheet only to the Director, WPT & BC, Rukrnini Nagar, Dispur, Ghy-o6 within 31th December, 2020.
