The
Commissioner and Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Elementary, Secondary & Higher
Education Department has release a notice regarding the covid test of the
Teachers of the states. The notice states that…
“All
Teachers of Schools, Colleges and Universities of the state are hereby
requested to undergo COVID-RTP PR test between 21.08.2020 and 30.08.2020 as a
safety measure before attending their respective Institutions.”

Further all Teachers should attend
their respective Institutions w.e.f. 01.09.2020.
Though the attendances of
the teachers from September 01 have been made mandatory, the government is yet
to take the final decision on reopening the schools and colleges of the state. The
future course of action will be taken according to the directives of the Central
Government Order.
