Online applications are invited for the recruitment of 14 Project Scientist, SRA, Laboratory Assistant and other Posts for ongoing activities under ‘ST/SC community development programme in IASST, Guwahati.

1. Post name: Project Scientist-II
No of posts: 1
Salary: Rs 67000 + 16% HRA per month
Educational Qualification: PhD in any discipline in life sciences from a recognized university and 3 years post-PhD research experience in the relevant field.

2. Post name: Senior Research Associate
No of posts: 4
Salary: Rs 42000 + 16% HRA per month
Educational Qualification: (i) Master’s degree in Life Sciences/Organic Chemistry from a recognized university and 4 years research experience in the relevant field or PhD in Life Sciences/Organic Chemistry from a recognized university, (ii) research experience/ PhD in human microbiome/food/fermentation/microbial ecology/herbal medicine/natural product chemistry/analytical.

3. Post name: Laboratory Assistant
No of posts: 4
Salary: Rs 20000 + 16% HRA per month
Educational Qualification: B. Sc. with chemistry/ microbiology/ botany/ zoology

4. Post name: Field Worker
No of posts: 3
Salary: Rs 18000 + 16% HRA per month
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Science

5. Post name: Project Assistant
No of posts: 2
Salary: Rs 12500 (consolidated)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Science
