Cotton University invite online application for the admission into HS 1st Year, UG 1st semester and PG 1st semester of different course available in the university for the Academic Year 2020-21. The course offered by vthe University is given below.
Students may apply through the Cotton University website https://cottonuniversity.ac.in .

Courses Offered by Cotton University

Higher Secondary:

Cotton University is a participating institution of the SEBA online portal of application for admission to Higher Secondary 1st year classes of both Science and Arts streams. The university has been receiving applications from students who have passed the HSLC examination under SEBA through this portal via the link http://anneswan.sebaonline.org/. The last date for application through this portal is 15 July. All HSLC passed students under SEBA who wish to get admitted to HS classes in Cotton University are encouraged to use the above portal for submitting their applications.

The University will also soon open its own application portal for Higher Secondary admission which will be made accessible through the Cotton University website https://cottonuniversity.ac.in. Students who have passed their qualifying Class 10 equivalent examination from CBSE or any Board other than SEBA will have to apply through this application portal.

Undergraduate Courses (BA/ BSc Honours, BA Liberal Arts and BCA):

Admission at the Undergraduate (UG) level in the University will be for BA/BSc (Honours), BA (Liberal Arts) and BCA programmes. The UGC CBCS curriculum will be followed for all the Undergraduate Honours programmes. Psychology and Sociology are the two new Honours subjects to be introduced with 30 seats each from this year.

The other new UG programme being introduced this year is BA in Liberal Arts with 50 seats. This is a three year degree programmme open for candidates who have cleared their 10+2 examination in any of the three disciplines (Arts, Science and Commerce). This programmme aims to offer students the opportunity to study a broad range of subjects while developing specialized knowledge in one core subject with the curricular flexibility of enabling a student to acquire knowledge across various disciplines and keeping the option to continue higher study in the core subject.

Postgraduate Courses (MA/ MSc, MLibISc and MCA):

There will also be two new postgraduate programmes opened for admission, viz. Master of Library and Information Science (MLibISc) and PG Diploma in Gender and Women's Studies. The former is a 4- Semester PG degree course with 20 seats and the latter is a 2-semester PG Diploma course having 30 seats. The Post Graduate Diploma in Gender and Women's Studies will be the first academic program of the Centre for Women's Studies, Cotton University. The program is intended to develop a conceptual and analytical framework of Gender studies and its attendant tools to bring about a critical understanding of women's issues and gender inequities with a view to promoting curricular advancement and in turn, enabling social transformation and justice.
