Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has invite application for the recruitment of 4 Specialist (Hydro) posts at IWAI, Kolkata, Guwahati, Patna & Varanasi office.

Qualification:
 Cat “B” Hydrographer /SR-1 from an IHO Certified Institute OR B.Tech (Civil Engg.) / B.Tech (Survey Engg.) OR  Associate Member of Institution of Surveyors in Subdivision I(B)

Experience: Minimum Post Qualification, experience of 15 years in conducting Hydrographic Survey, investigation and measurements. Bathymetric Surveys (as per SP 44 standards), Topographic Survey in a variety of Geographical locations. Experience in waterways/ port/ river mapping with proficiency in using the GIS Software working knowledge, Spatial data formats and related metadata issues. Working knowledge on S-57 data and ENC.Working knowledge of web mapping applications such as Google Earth, Bhuvan. Caris GIs etc

Age Limi: Maximum 50 years as on closing date of receipt of application. (However, for deserving candidate age  relaxation may be considered depending on the health and experience).

Salary: Rs. 85,000/- (Eighty-Five Thousand only) per month.
