Applications are invited
for the recruitment of following positions on contractual basis with
consolidated pay under DST sponsored collaborative project at Institute of Advanced
Study in Science and Technology (IASST) Garchuk, Guwahati (Assam). Eligible and
interested candidates can submit application.
1. Name of Post: Project
Scientist I
Educational
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) from a
recognized University or equivalent (with minimum of 55% marks).
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates with
experience in machines like Seed extractor, fiber extractor & on fibre
technology will get preference
Remuneration: Rs. 56,000 + 16%
HRA per month.
2. Name of Post: Project
Associate I
Educational
Qualifications: M.Sc in Biochemistry/Zoology (cell Biology & Molecular
Biology)/ M. Pharm (with minimum of 55% marks)
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having
research experience in medicinal plant/ natural resources and in experimental
animal model, Cell culture work will get preference. He/ She will have to
conduct the laboratory experiments both in vitro and in vivo, and also help in
the training programme of the project.
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/ + 16% HRA per month for first and second year
and 35,000/ + 16% HRA for third year.
3. Name of Post: Project
Associate -I
Educational
Qualifications: BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) in
Ayurveda (with minimum of55% marks)
Desirable Qualifications: Candidates having
research experience in medicinal plant/ natural resources and experiences in
clinical study will get preference so that he/she can handle patients very
nicely.
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/ + 16% HRA per month for first and second year
and 35,000/ +16% HRA for third year
Age Limit: Age limit is 35 years
for all positions. The age is to be calculated as on the last date of
submission of application. Age limits are relaxable for reserved categories as
per GoI norms.
