following qualification & other parameters for engagement as Apprentices
under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 (as amended from time to time) in the
Trade/Disciplines in Western Region of IOCL, Marketing Division, Mumbai as mentioned
below:

1. Name of the Post: Technician Apprentice
Educational
Qualification: 3
years Regular full time Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical / Instrumentation/Civil/
Electrical & Electronics/Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks in
aggre8ate for General & OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST candidates
for reserved position
2. Name of the Post: Trade Apprentice
Educational
Qualification:
Fitter/ Electrician /Electronic Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic! Machinist - Regular
full time ITI in Fitter! Electrician / Electronic Mechanic! Instrument
Mechanic! Machinist recognized by NCVT/ SCVT.
3. Name of the Post: Non-Technical Trade Apprentice - Accountant
Educational
Qualification:
Regular full time Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in
aggregate for General and OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ ST/PwD candidates
for reserved position.
4. Name of the Post: Technical Trade Apprentice - Data
Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentice)
Educational
Qualification: Data
Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentice)- Regular full time class XII or equivalent
in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General & OBC
candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates
5. Name of the Post: Non-Technical Trade Apprentice - Data
Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holder)
Educational
Qualification:
Regular full time class XIl or equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50%
marks in aggregate for General and OBC candidates and 45% in case of SC/ST/PwD
candidates for reserved position
Selection Process:
The written test will assess the candidates on the
following parameters:-
1. Trade Apprentice
Accountant
- Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude – 30 Marks
- Reasoning Abilities – 30 Marks
- Basic English Language Skills – 40 Marks
2. Trade Apprentice
(Data Entry Operator)
- General Aptitude and Reasoning Abilities – 25 Marks
- Basic English Language Skills – 25 Marks
- Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Marks
- General Awareness – 25 Marks
3. Trade Apprentice
(Fitter/Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/ Machinist) &
Technician Apprentice (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Civil/ Electrical
& Electronics/ Electronics):
- Technical Acumen in relevant discipline – 40 Marks
- Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude – 20 Marks
- Reasoning Abilities – 20 Marks
- Basic English Language Skills – 20 Marks
Age Limit: 18 to 24 years as on 28/02/2020. Relaxation
as per rules.
