Applications in prescribed format with bio-data, photocopies of marksheets, testimonials and other relevant documents are invited from eligible candidates for the following Sanctioned Posts of Assistant Professors in Chhaygaon College, Assam.
1. Assistant Professor

Subjects:
- Assamese: 02 (UR: 01 & UR-PwD: 01)
- Hindi: 01 (OBC/MOBC)
- Economics: 01 (UR)
- Philosophy: 01 (OBC/MOBC)
2. Librarian
No. of vacancy: 01 (UR)
Qualification: As per Assam Govt. memorandum No. AHE.239/2021/68, dated 24.01.2022. Besides NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligibility conditions. Candidates having Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulation of 30th June 2010 (Minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph.D. degree Regulation 2009) shall be exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
The candidate must have to acquire qualification latest by the date of submission of their applications. Other eligibility like M.Phil/Ph.D./Seminar paper/Publications can be acquired and may be submitted on the date of interview and not beyond.
Age: The age of the candidates should not be more than 38 years on 01/01/2022 with relaxation as per Govt. rules for candidates for SC/ST (5 years); OBC/MOBC (3 years) PWD (10 years).
Salary: Revised UGC scale of pay Rs. 57,700/- 1,82,400/- p.m. plus allowances admissible under the rules.
All relevant documents in original including PRC must be submitted at the time of Interview.
The candidates must have Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC). In service candidates must apply through proper channel with NOC obtained from the concerned authority.
