Assam State Biodiversity Board Recruitment 2020
Assam State Biodiversity Board intends to engage interested post-graduates in Life Sciences for the position of BMC District Co-ordinators (subject to availability of funds) for a duration of 3 (three) months under the 11th batch of Biodiversity Research Associate Programme (BRAP) for the following works:

• i. Co-ordination of the Biodiversity Management Committees (BMC) in their respective Districts constituted at Zilla Parishad, Anchalik Panchayats, Gaon Panchayats and Municipal Board.
• ii. Assist the BMCs in matters related to preparation of PBR and Implementation of the Biological Diversity Act-2002.
• iii. Organize workshops for sensitization and capacity building of the members of the BMCs about their roles and responsibilities.
• iv. Approach the BMCs and organize meeting for presentation and adoption of their draft PBR.
• v. Assist the BMCs in drawing their Action Plans.

No. of Vacancy: 33 Co-ordinators, one for each District

Educational Qualification: Post-graduates in Life Sciences ( Preferably in Zoology or Botany)

Fellowship: Rs. 15,000/- per month + travel allowance to a maximum of Rs. 5000/- per month.
