Educational Qualification:

Candidates must secure at least 55% marks (or an equivalent Grade Point Scale) at the Master's Degree level in the concerned subject and must have cleared the NET/SLET/SET conducted by the UGC/CSIR. Candidates who are awarded Ph. D Degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph. D Degree) Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.  A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided for SC/ST/PWD candidates. A relaxation of 6% marks may be provided to the PhD holders who have obtained their Master Degree prior 19.09.1991 (As per Govt. O.M. No. AHE.407/2017/44 dated 08.11.2018). 

Age Limit:

Maximum 38 years as on 01-01-2019. The upper age is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PWO and 3 years for OBC/MOBC applicant.

Application Fees:

A non-refundable Demand Draft of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousands) only drawn in favour of Principal, H.P.B. Girls College, Golaghat payable at S.B.I., Golaghat Branch.
